Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 2) to join our Legacy Tankers team. The BGS Legacy Tankers program supports both USAF tanker aircraft (KC-135 ), as well as Special Mission -135's, International Customers through both direct commercial sales and the USAF FMS Office as well as Commercial Fee For Service KC-135 Operators. In this role, the focus will be on providing project management support and acts as a key customer contact on day-to-day matters regarding execution of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) associated with the KC-135 Engineering Support & Sustainment Contracts within the Legacy Tankers Organization in Oklahoma City.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provides frequent support and interface with the technical team and support staff in providing cost, schedule and technical tracking and management of tasks in MATRIX and supports maintenance of EA health charts & quad charts, including setting up and maintaining budget allocations/distribution and spend plans

  • Provides recurring meeting support including coordination/preparation/agendas/minutes (PMR/PSR/BPR/etc.), as well as maintains engineering/program metrics for technical/cost/schedule performance tracking

  • Responsible for program management support for monthly financial decks, building presentations to support briefings to senior management and our USAF customers

  • Position requires frequent coordination/communication with task managers assigned to work Engineering Assignments, drafting/routing of correspondence related to our Performance Work Statement (PWS) – includes 75% funding notifications, interim letters, Engineering Assignment (EA) closure letters and managing data rights/ITAR/etc. markings and preparation of contract deliverables (CDRLS, LTSNs, etc.)

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills

  • Experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience interacting with business partners and customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is a PLUS

  • Experience working in a aircraft sustainment environment

  • Experience working with DoD or military customers

  • US Military experience

  • KC-135 experience

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Average Pay Summary: 63,750 - $86,250
