In Retail Business and Banking we put the customer at the heart of every decision, and how we handle customer service is important to us. We deal largely with Banking and Savings accounts but also across a variety of other products.

As part of our team, you’ll provide an excellent standard of service to our customers by administering processes across a wide range of Banking & savings accounts. You’ll also work on exception handling, dealing with more complicated matters that cannot be dealt with by our 3rd party supplier.

More specifically, we deal with Bank account switchers, ISA transfers, Credit card servicing, complex queries and investigations relating to everyday banking matters. Amongst much more.

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Ensuring the accurate processing of transactions (via letter, email and telephone)
  • Identifying/ raising issues and proactively following through to resolution
  • Experience in the fulfilment of openings or account closures
  • Prior administrative experience in a fast moving, high volume environment

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • A real desire to go above-and-beyond for customers
  • Effective team working skills with a flexible, can-do approach to work
  • Openness to a broad range of activities even if outside of standard expectations
  • Ability to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities
  • You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below).

What else you need to know:

This role is based in Bradford.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

This is a full time 12 month fixed term contract.  Working hours will be scheduled across 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Right to work in the UK.
