SUMMARY

Provides the department, Sales personnel and Sales Management with the necessary administrative support to follow up and to complete sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates the activities performed in the Sales department by providing the sales staff with necessary administrative support to develop leads to follow-up and to complete sales.

  • Generates correspondence as required by Sales management.

  • Coordinates quality control and maintains supplies, business cards and literature for Sales support.

  • Interacts with Sales personnel and Sales Management on activities including but not limited to bids, reports, information and correspondence.

  • Assists in development of Sales department policies/procedures.

  • Records census numbers in AIMS for reports.

  • Performs filing for department and is responsible for records management.

  • Monitors and delivers incoming mail and packages to sales operations area.

  • Records and processes incoming enrollment fee checks.

  • Monitors Team Outlook mailbox and distribute emails as needed or processes request.

  • Completes sales action in OneVoice for each sale.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred.

  • One year of experience in a related field is preferred.

  • Possesses project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple or large projects. 

  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, has proven customer service skills, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment. 

  • Familiar with modern and general sales office methods, practices, procedures and office equipment as well as filing systems and business letter writing.   Types accurately.

  • Able to present and explain information, both business and technical, in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. 

  • Analyzes situations accurately and takes effective action, able to follow written and oral instructions and work independently in absence of direct supervision

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.  Demonstrates competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, familiar with sales force automation applications, and the ability to learn new applications quickly.  Knowledge of multimedia software is a plus.
