We are looking for experienced and proficient AI/ML Lead Analyst who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. This role will be responsible for writing code, pairing with other developers as appropriate, decomposing acceptance criteria to understand team backlog deliverables, complexities, and risk, while working as a strong contributor on an agile team.

The AI/ML Lead Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The objective of this role is of exploring, developing, testing, deploying, enhancing, and maintaining machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities integrated with Sanctions Screening and Workflow management systems .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & implement feature engineering utilities for better representation of data and analytics workflow handle model training, optimization & development lifecycle
  • Design & develop data pipelines needed for model ingestion & training
  • Enhance existing AI/ML capabilities through ideation, exploration, testing, prioritization, and implementation
  • Conduct training and evaluate different algorithms including RF, Decision Trees, SVM, XGBoost, Naive Bayes and Neural Networks like LSTM, CNN etc.
  • Fine-tune pre trained LLMs on domain specific datasets to improve performance on targeted tasks.
  • Perform analytics on AI/ML capabilities usage to understand trends, patterns, and pain points and implement a sustainable feedback loop to ensure positive, continually improving user experiences.
  • Explain the analysis of results in a methodical, analytical, visually-appealing manner
  • Assess current capabilities and chart a path for continuous improvement of the AI/ML capabilities value and impact
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain model risk management (MRM) documentation on model performance and accuracy
  • Apply strong project management skills to develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and demonstrate progress toward objectives
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to ideate, educate, and present internally, often at senior levels (across functions); expected to communicate with external parties
  • Help shape the direction of machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities in Screening workflow process
  • Drive tool innovations based on stakeholder needs, including adoption of new technologies and techniques
  • Implement and evaluate different preprocessing, feature extraction, prepare text for model training.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in AI, machine learning, and model development and deployment
  • 3+ years’ experience working with different algorithms including RF, Decision Trees, SVM, XGBoost, Naive Bayes and Neural Networks like LSTM, CNN, RNN etc
  • Solid understanding of data structures and data models
  • Experiment with multiple prompts to guide the behavior and output of LLMs of specific tasks.
  • 5+ Experience in analytics, reporting, and visualization for the analysis and presentation of results.
  • Experience in implementing Large Language models such as BERT, Flan T5, Llama and Mistral for various NLP tasks, text generation and classification.
  • Analytics, AI, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), large language models (LLMs)
  • Design of AI/ML model performance metrics and optimization
  • Intermediate to Advanced level Python coding
  • Advanced SQL

  • Agile and waterfall project management methodologies; JIRA a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$96,960.00 - $145,440.00
