Job Title: Receptionist

Salary: £24,045 per year

Location: Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice, Bracknell

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm or 10.30am - 7pm plus 1:4 Saturdays 8.30am - 4.30pm)

Moor Cottage Client Care team have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic front-of-house team!

We are seeking candidates who are friendly, client-focused and are confident in a busy environment. You will work closely with our clinical team to guarantee that our clients and patients receive a high-quality, seamless and professional experience with us.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the practice diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.

  • Registering new patients

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of phone and email enquiries

  • Completing various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business

  • Promoting offers and services

  • Taking payments, managing cash, stock and client accounts

  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.

  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Must have previous customer-facing experience

  • Strong administration, numeracy and organisational skills

  • The ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues, face to face, over the telephone and via email

  • Able to adapt and quickly use in-house software (training will be provided)

  • Confident using Excel, Word and Outlook
