Job Profile Summary:
The Process Improvement Lead is a key member of the Clinical Trial Payments (CTP) Operational Excellence Team and is core to ensuring CTP is operating efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include facilitating and project managing continuous process improvement initiatives, which may include LEAN Sigma and Kaizen events, to ensure maximum efficiency, optimization and global harmonization. This role will also collaborate with the Product Development Team to define and validate business requirements for all system enhancements and ensure business needs are met. Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation such as CTP SOPs, work instructions, supporting documents and assisting with training materials. In collaboration with the Compliance team, this role is also responsible to ensure processes and documentation are in accordance with established guidelines, policies, procedures, controls as well as governmental and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and project manage continuous process improvement projects or Kaizen events to improve quality, increase productivity, reduce cost and waste resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction · Facilitate and project manage sessions with end users, subject matter experts, and/or business owners to extract key user and business requirements and priorities ensuring global harmonization and optimal processes are identified
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure process improvements are in line with business strategy and priorities
• Monitor and communicate project progress to the team, colleagues and management by developing and managing end to end project plans inclusive of milestones, launch schedule and updates project management tool to ensure successful delivery of process improvement initiatives
• Serves as a liaison between business and product team to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications
• Transform and document complex processes in a manner that can be understood by all business audiences
• Development and maintenance of SOPs, Work Instructions, Supporting Documents and assist with training materials ensuring documentation remains current with any process or technical changes
• Development and maintenance of process maps, FAQs and any other documentation needs that arise
• Development and maintenance of external user guides, supporting documents, FAQs and any other documentation needs that arise · Identification and monitoring key metrics to assess project performance and ensure expected results are achieved with all continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Global Training team to transfer knowledge of all process and technology improvements
• Provide guidance and support regarding process related questions from the Clinical Trial Payments team through multiple knowledge sharing communication pathways
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the Clinical Trial Payments Knowledge Center
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Work Experience:

· Experience in process improvement techniques, facilitation, metrics, project management, and process mapping
· Experience with Six Sigma / Lean

· Experience with Content Management System
