Key Responsibilities:
SCCM Application Packaging:

  • Develop, test, and deploy application packages using SCCM for both standard and custom applications.
  • Work closely with developers and other IT teams to understand application requirements and deliver reliable, efficient packaging solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application packaging, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
  • Ensure that application packages comply with security and system performance standards.

SQL Server Cluster Build/Install:

  • Lead the planning, setup, and installation of SQL Server clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize SQL Server instances in a clustered environment. Perform disaster recovery planning, backup, and restore operations for SQL Server clusters.
  • Work with database administrators and system architects to ensure optimal performance and availability of SQL Server environments.
  • Perform SQL Server patching, updates, and clustering maintenance tasks to ensure continued reliability and security of SQL Server environments.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and database teams to ensure seamless integration of SQL Server clusters and software deployment solutions.
  • Provide support for ongoing operations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to software management, application packaging, and SQL Server clusters.
  • Offer guidance and training to junior team members and other internal teams regarding SCCM, SQL Server clustering, and application packaging best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for all packaging processes, SQL Server cluster configurations, software deployment policies, and system configurations.
  • Provide regular status updates, reporting on software asset usage, deployment efficiency, and SQL Server cluster performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+  years of work experienece
  • Experience with PDSM/SCCM Software Asset Management, SCCM Application Packaging, SQL Server Cluster Build/Install 
  • HS Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Windows Server or MCSE: SQL Server.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and deploying SQL Server in hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure).
  • Familiarity with tools like PowerShell DSC (Desired State Configuration) and System Center Orchestrator.
  • Exposure to Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) for software deployment and SQL Server clustering.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
