What would you do? The candidate will work for a large Remediation end-to-end KYC team, who are responsible for several activities aligned with the remediation, onboarding, regular review and event driven reviews of Know Your Customer process for corporate / commercial customers.
Working on KYC Enhanced Due Diligence remediation projects for large financial institutions
Working on ongoing reviews of client remediation, onboarding, regular review files
Complete the KYC files using primary and secondar research
Implement feedback provided by checkers on process challenges
Adhering to processes and procedures for ensuring compliance with regulatory and KYC obligations which make sense for the business and enable collation of quality data for monitoring and reporting purposes
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Looking for someone with KYC experience along with ECDD/OCDD knowledge
Business and regulatory requirements, governance, operating model, process and system controls to verify the identity, suitability, and risks involved with onboarding and/or maintaining a business / customer relationship. This includes driving customer identification, customer due diligence & enhanced due diligence.
What are we looking for? Educated to Degree Level
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with business partners, communicate and explain complex KYC / AML issues
Can evidence experience in the financial services industry across a range of sectors
Strong knowledge of the business
Problem solving ability
Detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible, time management, and ability to prioritize and work effectively to tight deadlines
This role requires good understanding of Enhanced Due Diligence KYC combined with a strong understanding of global markets and the international banking environment.
Interested candidates should also have:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting EDD KYC engagements in institutional banking
Perform a role of Analyst in KYC engagements
Personnel must possess English language (voice) skills at the CEFR B2
Good knowledge of EDD KYC processes
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
An ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external parties across multiple locations.
