Dolls Kill is a global fashion brand built for the bold, rebellious, and unapologetically expressive. Fashion, music, nightlife, festivals, alternative culture. We're hiring someone to shoot and cut the content that lives on our feeds.

What this job actually is

You are on the floor with a phone, a light, and a mic. You shoot it, you cut it on your phone or in CapCut, and it's posted the same day. Sometimes within the hour. You'll live in our Oakland office, our stores, our Whatnot and TikTok Live sets, and wherever the brand shows up.

We post a lot. Expect to ship 20+ finished vertical pieces a week. (Adjust to your real number.) If your instinct is that good work takes a week, this isn't the role. If your instinct is that the trend is dead in four days, keep reading.

What you'll do

  • Shoot vertical on your phone, all day, every day. Products, fits, hauls, store moments, hosts, restocks, chaos.
  • Cut fast. Hooks in the first second, captions, trending audio, native formats.
  • Clip our Whatnot and TikTok Live shows into content while the show is still running.
  • Pitch ideas off what's actually trending this week, not what tested well last quarter.
  • Be on camera or pull people in front of it when the shot needs it.
  • Keep the footage organized enough that we can find it later.

What we need to see

  • Links to accounts you run or have run. Yours, a brand's, a friend's, doesn't matter. We want to see your posts and how they performed.
  • You edit on your phone (CapCut, Edits, VN, or in-app) and you're fast at it.
  • You know what's trending right now and can name three sounds or formats you'd use for us this week.
  • You actually care about this world: alt fashion, music, festivals, club culture.

Nice to have, not required

  • Premiere, After Effects, or motion graphics.
  • Photography.
  • Experience with live commerce (Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Instagram Live).
  • Any experience getting a video past 100K views organically.

Not required at all

  • A degree, a reel, a camera body, or "professional experience." If you've been making videos that people watch, that counts.

How to apply

Send us a 30 second vertical video, shot and edited on your phone, telling us why you should get this job. Include links to your accounts. That's the whole application. No cover letter, no resume required.
