What you will do:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with local labor laws. This role requires a proactive, organized, and people-oriented individual who can manage HR operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As a member of this team, you will be based in Um Al Quwain and will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to generate satisfactory results.

 

How you will do it:

·       Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

·       Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

·       Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and resolution.

·       Foster a positive work environment and address any workplace conflicts or grievances.

·       Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.

·       Support managers in conducting performance reviews and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

·       Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.

·       Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

·       Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

·       Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.

·       Ensure employees are aware of and adhere to company policies.

·       Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.

·       Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and leave management.

·       Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and enhance employee engagement.

 

What we look for:

·       University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·       Two – five years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

·       Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.

 

Working Conditions

·       This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment.

·       Occasional travel may be required for recruitment or training purposes.
