Fixed Income Product manager
Fixed Income product manager, in the Business Development unit, works closely with our fixed income investment teams to support regional sales teams. The role is expected to contribute to client growth and retention by co-working with business colleagues across the firm to support our clients’ investment needs. The scope of the role includes the daily monitoring and operation for the Japan domiciled funds managed by AllianceBernstein Japan as the investment manager.
Job Description
- The role is responsible for portfolio monitoring of Japan domiciled investment trust funds managed domestically and arranging instructions of FX hedge, MF Minasu and FoF for Japan domiciled investment trusts. It includes correspondence with external partners to support such operations.
- The role is expected to assist fixed income product specialists, by co-working on business opportunities development of fixed-income strategies. The role is expected to learn and cover wide range of fixed income products and investment solutions. The business covers both retail distributors and institutional clients, as assigned as a part of Fixed Income Business Development team.
- The role is responsible for communication strategy by organizing product pitch presentation, compiling RFIs and RFPs, supporting periodical reporting production and preparing performance review decks for client products/portfolios.
- The role is ideal for establish professional skills and participate with client related activities as a product expert for both institutional and retail channels.
Job Qualifications
- Experience for fixed income / cash management for funds or segregated accounts.
- Comfortable in handling and preparing guideline documents, RFP/RFIs etc.
- Collaborative team player with client focus. In doing so, communication with internal clients and external parties including overseas are required.
- Knowledge of fixed income investment or products is a plus.
- Analytical skills for investment products via database such as eVestment or Morningstar, or institutional client reporting experience is a plus
