Job Description: As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery department, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of our products. You will work collaboratively with your team to create an inviting environment for customers while maintaining Loblaws’ standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train bakery staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
  • Monitor department performance and assist with budgeting and financial targets

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bakery management or a related food service role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
