SHIFT DETAILS:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 5:45am-3:15pm
• Pay Rate-$18.20

* Cleans Hatchers with water and approved soap after chicks are removed.

* Cleans Plenum Halls after chicks have been removed from hatchers.

* Cleans all drains daily including box drains and trench drains.

* Disinfects all hatchers and plenums once clean with an approved disinfectant.

* Notify the Sanitation Supervisor of any repairs needed (concrete, caulk, fans, etc…).

* Squeegee hatcher floors before placing baskets into hatcher to remove excess water.

* Places clean hatcher basket stacks into hatchers after machines have been disinfected.

* Assist the other clean-up crew members when needed.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor.

             III.  Position Requirements:

* In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:

                           ** Must be able to lift 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques.

** Must be able to work in noisy, hot, humid areas, dust, foul odors and chemical reactions.

** Must be able to wear required PPE.

** Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

** Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, grasp, twist and kneel.
