About this role

Dow has an opportunity for an Information Technology Analyst to join the Enterprise Data and Analytics group (organized in Information Technology) located in Mumbai (IND). This role will provide technical and operational support for IT projects and solutions within the Data Management ED&A tower. You will be working with others on the team leveraging ETL projects to support Dow’s data quality process.  You will also collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, and customers to design and build objects. You will also ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.

Responsibilities

  • For SAP Data Migration (Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)), perform the following:

  • Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas.

  • Works closely with business process teams, technical teams and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements.

  • Document detailed designs.

  • Builds, tests and implements application objects.

  • Assists with issue resolution.

  • Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.


Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management of Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent (Master's degree preferred)

  • We need 2 to 4 years IT experience. 

Preferred Sills

  • Knowledge of SQL is essential.

  • Knowledge of SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) is essential.

  • Good to have knowledge of Agile Methodology and Scrum Planning.

  • Knowledge of SAP Information Steward.

  • Knowledge of Material Master.

  • Knowledge of JAVA / JavaScript is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps.

  • Knowledge of Data Quality concepts and trends.

  • Knowledge of Service Now workflow capabilities.

Additional notes

  • This position is available in Mumbai location.

  • Relocation assistance is not available with this position.​  

  • The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential .
