As an IT Operations and New Hire Specialist you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Evaluate and prioritize helpdesk tickets to ensure timely resolution, monitoring progress, and providing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the New Hire Workflow including overseeing and refining the new hire IT onboarding workflow, hardware/software selection processes, job code assignments, and compliance with organizational equipment standards.
  • Ensure organizational consistency by developing and enforcing compliance standards within systems like Tangoe, while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition and Education teams, driving initiatives that enhance IT integration during onboarding and employee transitions.
  • Manage the helpdesk system by not only maintaining accurate data and tracking issues but also analyzing trends to provide actionable insights to management for system improvements.
  • Monitors support activity and informs both team and management of any perceived trends in technical issues. 
  • Act as a liaison between IT teams and stakeholders to ensure complex issues are escalated and resolved efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption. 
  • Foster and maintain a collaborative working relationship with executive assistants to plan and coordinate IT activities that minimize disruption to senior leaders work activities. 
  • Works with executives and their assistants to effectively provide professional and timely support for a wide range of IT equipment, software and conference room systems. 
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.   

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent combination of work experience and education is required.
  • 5+ years experience working in a senior position within a helpdesk support environment is required.
  • 3+ years supporting C-Level executives and their staff is required.
  • Working knowledge to support desktop systems, software, hardware, application training and incdent ownership and management.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to a non-technical audience.
  • Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license and current auto insurance in accordance with the laws of the state.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed. 
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and able to lift at least 25lbs. 

You will report to the Senior IT Logistics and Technical Support Manager.
