P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.
Our Infrastructure Platform team is looking for a Disaster Recovery Program Management Intern to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote) out of the Cincinnati office for the summer.
Responsibilities:
Assist Disaster Recovery Program Manager with coordination, reporting, configuration management database updates and data imports/exports
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules and work hours
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Ensuring project deadlines are met
Undertaking project tasks as required, such as helping to test the system or analyze data
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
Taking meeting minutes
Tracking open risks and issues, and following up on solutions and deadlines associated with those
Facilitate project meetings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Data management, network, computer, storage and coordination
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines as needed
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
First or second year student pursuing an IT-related degree.
