A Brief Overview:

The position includes clinical care of patients, education of medical students/residents, and clinical research.

The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Endeavor Health's NorthShore Hospitals provides consultative services, diagnosis, and management of diseases in the endocrine system in adults. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to diabetes treatment and treat patients with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and those requiring insulin pumps. Our staff consists of physicians, nurses, dieticians and certified diabetes educators who work together to provide a team approach to diabetes management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients
• Order and interpreting tests,
• Develop treatment plans, and making referrals
• Ability to care for multiple patients simultaneously and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• MD or DO required
• BC/BE: Emergency Medicine
• IL medical license or pending
• DEA
