The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in leading Covenir BPO’s revenue growth strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO and participating in company leadership, this individual will serve as both a strategic thinker and a relentless “hunter” in the market. The right candidate will thrive on opening new doors, building a strong pipeline, and driving the organization to the next level of growth.

Job Description:

The Director of Sales will:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aggressively drives new client acquisition in the BPO and insurance outsourcing space.
  • Consistently prospect, identify, and engage decision-makers at target accounts to create and close new business opportunities.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to refine value propositions, go-to-market strategy, and market positioning.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with disciplined reporting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Represent Covenir BPO at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand visibility and credibility.
  • Collaborate with delivery, operations, and marketing leaders to ensure seamless handoff and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform product/service development and strategic decisions.
  • Contribute as a member of the leadership team, influencing overall company growth initiatives and cultural development.
  • Work with prospective clients well in advance of knowing there is an opportunity, managing through discovery, communicating value, pricing, negotiation, and eventual contracting.
  • Develop and oversee partnership relationships and referred opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably in BPO, outsourcing, or related industries (insurance industry knowledge a strong plus).
  • Demonstrated success in “hunter” roles, consistently exceeding new business acquisition targets.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-suite decision-makers.
  • Experience building and executing scalable go-to-market strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
