We are looking for a motivated, driven individual who will manage a calendar of events including web-based meetings, in-person seminars/events and conferences.
Ideally, we are looking for someone to begin mid-October, 2024.
Roles and responsibilities:
Working with internal stakeholders on requirements for each event
Collaborating and managing relationships with various key external stakeholders, including health care professionals, medical associations and societies, external suppliers and contractors including caterers, technical suppliers, venues and PCOs
Manage events end to end including venue sourcing and booking, invitations, ordering of audio-visual equipment, seating and space requirements, dietary requirements, ordering catering, onsite management and set up and pack down.
On-site delivery, post-event follow-up, event reporting, and analysis
Coordinate and report on the financial status of meetings and events including assisting with the development of event budgets, allocation of costs, processing of invoices and receipts and other tasks as required.
Skillset:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a high level of professionalism, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills. You will be self-motivated, have high attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and can manage multiple competing priorities.
You will be a creative, collaborative team player that has a passion for events with previous experience coordinating and organising events.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated skill and experience in event planning
Qualifications in event management or related field
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
Amazing communication - written and verbal .
Technical knowledge of webcasting platforms
Flexible work schedule, including working early mornings, nights and occasional weekends
Experience using Cvent would be advantageous
