The opportunity
The Mechanical Design Platform Manager will lead a team of Mechanical Developers to ensure the execution of the backlog according to priorities. The manager will drive design platform process improvements, maintain burnup dashboards, and track agreed programming KPIs. This role requires strong leadership, coordination with R&D, and support for users on technical questions.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead the team of Mechanical Developers and ensure backlog execution according to priorities
Drive continuous improvements in the design platform process
Maintain burnup dashboards and monitor programming KPIs
Provide effort estimations during the prioritization process
Coordinate with R&D to ensure clear understanding of Technical Specifications (TS)
Address users' tickets and escalate issues when necessary
Support users on technical questions and provide guidance
Your background
Proven experience in mechanical design and development
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and maintain KPIs
Experience in effort estimation and backlog execution
Familiarity with technical specifications and R&D collaboration
