We are looking for a curious, empathetic, and proactive Senior Business System Analyst who is excited to work through ambiguity and deliver exceptional user experiences and lasting value to our customers.
The Business System Analyst will support the Direct Division and our Residential Customer Database Product. They will be responsible for analyzing and translating business requirements into system definitions and recommended solutions. This role's key focus is analyzing system-related data to answer specific business and technical questions.
What You’ll Do:
Identify and translate business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process.
Conduct in-depth research, interpret highly technical documents, draw valid conclusions, and provide appropriate recommendations to solve business problems.
Perform GAP analysis to identify gaps between current and desired states of business processes and systems.
Create user stories to capture requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc.
Be a strategic partner and liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff).
Define business processes, ensure system alignment, and resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
Drive process improvement and optimization initiatives across teams and the organization.
Participate in Agile ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and coordinate the full software delivery lifecycle.
Collaborating with the Residential Data Operations team to manage and optimize our internal customer database, ensuring seamless integration with our new Salesforce instance.
Supporting our internal data team in enhancing the Residential Customer Database with lender, attorney, and residential real estate data.
Facilitating system alignment with the sales team's new Uniform Sales Process, including essential data integration workflows.
Proactively engaging with sales, marketing, other internal data groups, and internal/external vendors to address gaps in data readiness and system functionality.
Driving continuous improvement in system design and implementation, aligned with the Q4 2025 launch milestones for the Uniform Sales Process MVP.
Documenting and maintaining business processes, user requirements, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and accountability.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or adjacent role.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with the Sales Ops, Vendors, Domain Product Owners, and other cross-functional teams.
Direct experience with Agile process (working with team on backlog refinement, work item creation, sprint structuring and planning), end-to-end process understanding from customer request to release/delivery.
Experience in detailing user stories and bugs.
Hands-on experience in working with API’s.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to organize large amounts of information and glean insights, define problems, and identify root causes.
Strong written and oral communication skills to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements.
Pay Range: $72,125.00 - $96,125.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
