Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
- Senior individual contributor handling L2/L3 support activities.
- Focused on operational stability, incident resolution, and proactive monitoring.
- Works closely with the Team Lead on execution and improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for assigned enterprise applications.
- Execute configuration changes, application restarts, and maintenance tasks.
- Support patching, upgrades, and release activities under guidance.
- Troubleshoot application, OS, and integration issues.
- Participate in incident bridges and RCA documentation.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Professional & Technical Skills:
1. OpenText ICC / BCC, Archive Server & Web Viewer
Perform L2/L3 support, configuration changes, and health checks.
Troubleshoot application, JVM, and integration-related issues.
Execute approved changes, restarts, and deployments.

2. GoAnywhere
Support daily file transfer operations and job monitoring.
Resolve transfer failures, connectivity issues, and certificate alerts.
Execute patching and upgrade steps under guidance.

3. iManage / Litera
Handle user access issues and operational incidents.
Support configuration changes and routine maintenance.
Follow SOPs and escalate complex issues to the Team Lead.

4. JiVS, IUCLID, CHESAR
Monitor batch jobs, data loads, and scheduled processing.
Support application and middleware patching activities.
Assist in RCA documentation and incident analysis.

5. Sabrix
Monitor tax calculation processes and batch executions.
Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate when required.

6. QuickConnect / Biocide Labeling, LeakDAS, Winshuttle, Lenel
Provide L2/L3 operational support.
Execute predefined runbooks and maintenance tasks.
Update documentation and knowledge articles.

Core Engineer Responsibilities
Incident handling, change execution, and operational support.
Monitoring, alert handling, and stability checks.
Documentation, SOP maintenance, and knowledge sharing.
Participation in on-call and 24 7 production support.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in OpenText Enterprise Information Management (EIM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- 4–7 years of experience in application or middleware support.
- Hands-on exposure to multiple enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL processes.
- Exposure to scripting or automation is a plus.
