Sourcing Buyer
Our Sensors Division in Gilbert, AZ is looking for a Buyer to join their team! As a Sourcing Buyer, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier risk management, contract management, supplier negotiations, and cost/spend management. You will manage supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, service, and sustainability to maintain a reliable and cost-effective supply chain. A key part of your role will be driving the onboarding process for new machine shop vendors, from NDA initiation through to the production phase.

Your Challenge
Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and performance.
Evaluate supplier quotes and capabilities, assist in vendor selection, and recommend potential suppliers with knowledge of machine shop processes.
Work closely with the quality team to support supplier onboarding and offboarding activities.
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities, including basic make-versus-buy evaluations and alternate sourcing options.
Support Work Transfer initiatives by gathering data and helping assess sourcing options to improve cost and reduce risk.
Participate in negotiations and help develop long-term agreements that secure quality and value from suppliers.
Monitor assigned subcontracts, tracking cost, schedule, and scope to ensure compliance and performance.
Contribute to commodity management efforts, including price tracking, market research, and availability analysis.
Participate in supplier site visits to help evaluate production capabilities, performance, and delivery.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure sourcing goals are met.
What you bring
3–5 years of experience in sourcing, supplier coordination, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Familiarity with cost analysis, basic contract terms, and supplier performance metrics.
Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
