The Coordinators supports the delivery and execution of BMO’s U.S. Community Giving programs through effective and efficient administrative and programmatic support to ensure that grants are completed in accordance with the department’s standards, policies, and procedures. The Coordinator will manage the collection of partnership agreements, support supplier on-boarding, and manage the coordination of important sub-grant programs with internal stakeholders. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is critical for this role.

The successful candidate:

  • Support the U.S. Giving team including developing program components, promoting the program and ensuring the execution of all program components.
  • Provides general operating support including the organization of all files, creation of presentation materials, as needed, and the ability to create reports and translate data into meaningful insights for the team and internal departments
  • Utilizes technology to drive efficiency
  • Participates in special project activities to ensure deadlines are met and project activities are delivered as scheduled
  • Works with communications to activate and leverage community programs and partnerships with internal and external audiences to drive employee engagement and build reputation
  • Accepts, reviews and processes requests from community organizations and manages the ongoing relationships with community partners
  • Supports the investigation, analysis, documentation and mitigation of program risks
  • Participates in assigned strategic initiatives impacting the overall program, providing insight and analytical support
  • Exercises judgement to identify, diagnose, and propose solutions within given rules
  • Drives tasks forward proactively and with some independence

Develops, promotes, maintains & manages designated corporate/employee program(s), performing periodic reviews, analyzing program outcomes, providing insights and making recommendations for enhancements/changes as required. Ensures the effective & efficient execution of all program components, including ensuring change management & communications are in place for any enhancements/changes and mitigating any risk. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Supports the development of the program strategy ensuring that key goals are delivered and are aligned to overall BMO goals.
  • Supports the management of the corporate / employee program, including developing program components, promoting the program and ensuring the execution of all program components.
  • Designs measurable sustainment strategies including assessing and recommending mitigations for industry/ segment-specific risks and prioritizing opportunities presented by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigates, analyzes, documents & mitigates program risks and advises any issues or concerns to senior leaders.
  • Understands the purpose of the program and ensures that stakeholder needs are understood and integrated into the development & management of the program.
  • Analyzes the impact and effectiveness of the program through periodic reviews of the programs and makes recommendations to improve processes, procedures and/or policy
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide program insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks program performance, and addresses any issues. Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Manages the change management for any enhancements / changes and ensures that appropriate plans are in place to execute effectively.
  • Tracks exception requests and corresponding approvals.
  • Participates in the management of vendor relationships; ensures regular reviews are in place, key performance indicators are monitored, service level agreements are met and service costs are kept within budget.
  • Oversees project activities o ensure deadlines are met and program solutions are delivered as scheduled.
  • Leads/participates in the design, implementation and management of core program processes.
  • Participates in assigned strategic initiatives impacting the overall program, providing insight and analytical support.
  • Continuously monitor industry developments and continuously update.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Program management skills - In-depth.
  • Experience managing related programs - In-depth.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Salary:

$56,000.00 - $104,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
