Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving device integration software within an agile team, translating medical device communication protocols into robust interfaces that enable seamless collection and integration of patient data into the Centricity High Acuity clinical information system.
Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies like Agile/Lean/XP, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices and Testing Techniques.
Develop and maintain software primarily using C++ in Windows systems.
Design and implement low-level software components with a strong understanding of design patterns.
Break down system designs into class and flow diagrams.
Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive unit and automation tests.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applications.
Collaborating with global cross-functional teams
What we would like from you
A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with demonstrated software development skills in C++ and substantial relevant experience.
Experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Documentation Practices and methodologies like Agile and LEAN.
Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Medical Device development and related processes
Experience with version control systems, particularly Gitlab
Knowledge / Experience of HL7 for healthcare data exchange
Knowledge about Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, database tools
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Demonstrated engineering curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking mindset, and problem-solving skills
