Job Description:

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world As an End User Sales Representative for AAD, you will play a key role in increasing the market share of automotive, truck, and bus repair products from 3M's aftermarket division in Puerto Rico.

The impact you will have in this role:

  • Conduct product demonstrations on behalf of 3M (as the client); to 3M’s end user customers within prioritized market segments.
  • Provide market and competitive insight by gathering and providing market trend information,
  •  monitoring the competitive landscape and sharing this information with 3M for input into marketing and portfolio strategies.
  • Develop and implement cooperative opportunity plans with 3M’s designated distribution partners that include both end-user opportunities and marketing activation.
  • Provide Key account support: such as account data analysis, maintenance of product catalogue, feedback and alignment with 3M’s commercial and supply chain areas and support on plans and improvements projects.
  • Support new business and product introductions for 3M with local or international key accounts by executing area / demand generation strategies and coordinating with 3M’s internal teams to ensure successful delivery of brand promises.
  • Consistently utilize CRM tools, which include account categorization as well as opportunity management (potential distributor prospects) in line with BG regulations.
  • Participate in local trade shows
  • Track 3M’s end user customer scorecard metrics.
  • Manage and preparation of reports, forecast and deviations
  • Serve as communication liaison between 3M and its end-user customers
  • Support distribution of marketing or any related material.
  • Provide training to distributors.
  • Track POP execution and give direction to merchandising teams.

The skills and experience we seek to prepare your path to success in this position from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who have:

  • Completed university education, degree required in Business Administration or Industrial engineering or related careers
  • Preferably experience in technical sales (2 or more years).
  • Availability to travel.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of commercial experience in sales of differentiated products that require cost-benefit analysis, pencil selling, and problem-solving.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Automotive industry
  • Technical skills, ability to handle pneumatic and electric tools.
  • Knowledge of Office package: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
  • Results-oriented, able to work under pressure, integrity, collaborative.
  • Negotiation skills.
