As the Budget & Forecasting Senior Advisor, you will be tasked with examining data, generating comprehensive budget reports and offering budget modification recommendations. In addition, this role is responsible for all invoicing needs for various vendor partners in Customer Care. Read on!

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, present and oversee financial budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Maintain and update GDS Bad Debt Model on monthly basis and provide insights to Customer Care leadership.

  • Review data and analyze trends to inform budget recommendations and any associated risks.

  • Prepare detailed budget reports and forecasts for management reviews.

  • Provide recommendations for budget adjustments and long-term forecasts.

  • Ensure all invoices from our vendor partners are accurate, align with our budget and are coded for on-time payment.

  • Provide data, reports and ad-hoc analysis to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of the information provided and present it for decision making.

Who You Are:

  • Related University Degree or College Diploma and 2+ years experience.

  • Minimum six or more years of directly related experience.

  • Familiarity with SAP and Oracle.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical skills.

  • Strong report development and data modeling skills.

  • Capability to work in a team environment and also ability to work independently within tight timelines.

  • Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite and very strong demonstrated Excel skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in working with a highly regulated industry.

  • Knowledge of Ontario energy market (gas/electricity) and customer policies/rules/requirements.
