The Head of Strategic Initiatives will assist the Chief Strategy Officer in overseeing global business partnerships and initiatives within the Strategy team and serve as a trusted partner to the CSO and executive team. He or she will collaborate across a 4000 person organization working with all areas of the business and engineering teams including partnerships, business operations, sales, client services, product, marketing, and legal.

She or he will have hands-on experience building highly efficient and effective teams, programs, partnerships, and processes. Success is viewed as achieving business results, with extreme ownership and accountability – not just being busy. He or she will have experience crafting strategic partnerships, which are then executed and maintained by themselves or their teams. S/he will makes decisions and proposals backed by data and analysis. The candidate will be innately nonpolitical, open, authentic, service-oriented, driven, and low ego. S/he should display a management style that emphasizes collaboration, and will work seamlessly across the company’s functions and levels.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
