Role Summary:
The Aftermarket Parts Representative - APAC is a key member of the Services & Solutions team, responsible for providing real-time technical and commercial support for the valves aftermarket parts business. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal commercial, operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams, ensuring seamless coordination from opportunity identification and quotation through to final delivery. The incumbent will work closely with end-user sales teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver an exceptional aftermarket service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and commercial support for aftermarket parts, including opportunity identification, quotation preparation, pricing, availability confirmation, and delivery coordination.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on parts-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely communication of requirements, pricing, and delivery commitments.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical and commercial inquiries.

  • Develop and manage parts programs and managed inventory agreements for target end users, including tracking and reporting on contract-related KPIs.

  • Lead or actively participate in parts planning activities for turnarounds, shutdowns, and repair events to ensure alignment with customer scope and timelines.

  • Conduct onsite unit walks to support maintenance planning, upgrades, and start-up activities.

  • Coordinate customer orders through aftermarket operations, ensuring internal stakeholders are informed of shipment schedules and logistics between customer sites and Flowserve facilities.

  • Facilitate aftermarket change notices and BOM updates to ensure accurate system loading and timely quotation turnaround.

  • Escalate and communicate site-related issues to Sales, Operations, and Commercial leadership as required.

  • Deliver clear technical explanations and presentations to customers, tailoring communication style to suit the audience.

Requirements:

  • Technical, engineering, or manufacturing background with solid knowledge of valve and instrumentation repair, manufacturing, and operational requirements.

  • Experience providing technical and commercial support in an industrial or plant environment.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to act as an effective liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplined site teams.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet high-visibility deadlines.

  • Ability to work safely in plant and workshop environments in compliance with all safety standards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel locally to customer sites and company facilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Experience supporting aftermarket parts programs, managed inventory contracts, or KPI-driven service agreements.

  • Prior involvement in turnaround or major maintenance planning activities.

  • Experience coordinating BOM updates and managing engineering change documentation within ERP systems.
