Senior Manager, Systems Control

Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Systems Control, Senior Manager to join this growing team.
The CFIUS Systems Control Senior Manager will report to the VP of CFIUS Security and will be responsible for a variety of tasks to manage the CFIUS product control requirements, applications review processes and SOW program. The Senior Manager will be responsible for understanding how the product and the business teams are implementing controls, preparing applications and SOW processes, understand the deployment architecture, and be able to review it from an operational integrity perspective with an emphasis on CFIUS compliance. This includes:
- Work locally, virtually, and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Create product controls and compliance solutions based on interviews with subject matter experts and business leads
- Develop scope and plan for providing documentation materials designed to fit specific knowledge needs
- Participate in and/or lead internal meetings, reviews and related activities
- Perform projects and duties as assigned in support of department goals and objectives. Examples of these would include but not be limited to participation in focus workgroups; attend implementation meetings and calls; and collaborating with Engineering, Operations and PMO to ensure business need is met.
- Monitor changes to applications and SOW to ensure content is accurate and current
The Senior Manager will analyze and provide reviews on business systems and operations, approaches to mitigate risks, resolve alerts, and preempt possible adverse outcomes of identified weaknesses. The candidate will evaluate risks and controls while working closely with other team members to refine and improve the review cycles, approval and monitoring processes. What you will do:
- Work with the BCT operations and management team to build out the organization's product control processes, application and SOW review initiatives.
- Work with business units to analyze system requirements to determine control procedures, application and SOW processes.
- Manage risk, assurance, and compliance activities against CFIUS requirements.
- Gather information for the submissions for the third-party engagements while consulting with the internal and external Legal teams.
- Develop solutions and plans to ensure product controls are implemented according to regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing support by tracking and monitoring the review and application engagements throughout the product control life cycle and submission process.
- Collaborate with Infosecurity, compliance, and legal teams to ensure compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures under the CFIUS requirements.
- Ensure controls are operational and functioning within the internal business teams.
- Manages the development and maintenance of controls implemented to support compliance with CFIUS requirements.
- Review, approve, or reject requests to ensure compliance with the CFIUS requirements.
- Develop service metrics and create reports and dashboards, and prepare communications and presentations to internal audiences.
What you will bring;
- Knowledge or experience working with government agencies and regulatory process
- Extensive experience in supporting, managing, or assessing controls and compliance against an enterprise-wide product programs, with specific knowledge of risk management requirements.
- Experience with audits including experience with maintaining comprehensive catalogue of product and system controls
- Strong analytical, written, verbal and presentation skills required to effectively manage product controls, communicate at all levels of the BCT, from administrative to the C-Suite.
- Ability to think strategically and objectively to effectively translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Strong ability to build relationships cross-functionally and partner with business teams to deliver solutions that meet the business needs and CFIUS compliance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment.

Desirable
- Experience with writing detailed documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.
- Experience working with technical writers. Knowledge of AWS & GCP is a plus.
- Experience working with product management and engineering teams

- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or management
