The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Purchase Expeditor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring materials and services in accordance with technical specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms. You will ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and contribute to seamless supply chain execution by securing timely material availability that supports production and project needs.

How you’ll make an impact            

  • Manage material and service requisitions and convert approved requests into purchase orders.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, timelines, and specifications.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with approval workflows and sourcing agreements.

  • Dispatch purchase orders, obtain acknowledgments, and verify alignment with contract terms.

  • Monitor open orders, follow up with suppliers, and address delays or discrepancies proactively.

  • Coordinate logistics, track inbound shipments, and ensure goods match PO specifications.

  • Support invoice matching, resolve exceptions, and coordinate with finance for timely settlement.

  • Assist with non‑conformance issues by expediting replacements or clarifications with suppliers.

  • Serve as a key link between local factories and the CSS team to ensure process alignment.

  • Ensure purchase orders reflect customer or project requirements and sustainability criteria.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other teams for process consistency.

  • Support continuous improvement in supply chain processes and operational efficiency.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background        

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and material planning.

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their relevance to supplier compliance is a plus.

  • Experience in cost analysis, negotiation, and sourcing strategies is highly valued.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
