You are a developing full-lifecycle recruiter who will bring your experience to our organization by recruiting qualified corporate and sales professionals and management professionals for open positions. You will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing to on-boarding for an assigned Business Unit (I.e, law, tax, sales). You will develop and maintain a structured, standardized, and cost-effective interviewing process by acting as recruiting consultant to hiring managers.

What you will do: 

  • Assess requirements for open positions and determine appropriate recruiting strategies, methods, and sources in partnership with hiring managers and corporate and sales leadership executives as needed. 
  • Identify candidates through on-line sourcing, external job postings, recruitment ads, educational institutions, professional and diversity associations and publications, job fairs, employment agencies, search firms, etc. 
  • Pre-screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates; pre-screen candidates by phone and in person as appropriate. 
  • Schedule candidates' interviews  and employment tests as needed. 
  • Conduct background and reference checks and onboard new hires into Workday. 
  • Act as recruiting consultant to hiring managers by guiding, advising, and assisting them throughout the recruiting process. 
  • Conduct research and develop innovative digital recruitment strategies and target company lists to build pipelines of high caliber candidates that meet the imminent and future hiring needs of the organization. 
  • Develop and maintain structured, standardized, cost-effective interviewing process.  Identify and develop pre-interview candidate assessment tools.  
  • Provide general Human Resources support services for Bloomberg Industry Group’s corporate and sales organization. 
  • Maintain and update external employment and professional association websites for the purpose of identifying, recruiting, and hiring qualified candidates. 
  • Represent Bloomberg Industry Group at job fairs, conferences, and related recruiting and networking events. 

You need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • 1 year experience in HR, Recruitment, or Sales 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources principles, policies, practices, issues, laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to employment activities. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and techniques of structured interviewing, including behavior-based interviewing techniques. 
  • Strong internet sourcing skills, including Boolean searches and the ability to recruit using both traditional and nontraditional methods. 
  • The ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight travel.
