Job Summary
The Billing Representative II is responsible for ensuring that all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. Will work to provide a positive patient experience while obtaining the information necessary to facilitate patient care and billing processes.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience required in a healthcare setting, with experience in professional billing
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures.
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Working Model Requirements
Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00, with flexibility after training
Hybrid model with an expectation of onsite presence once a month.
Employee paid parking onsite or MBTA pass discounts available via benefits
Remote workdays require stable, secure, quiet, HIPAA-compliant work station
