About the Role

You are an experienced, dedicated and passionate mental health clinician, looking to make a real difference, not only in our community but also by leading and developing a fast growing team. As a senior Occupational Therapist, you will be supporting staff employed into Intensive care package positions across Hawthorn and Clarendon Clinic to achieve outcomes set by the Department. You will also provide support to the Team leader of the Group program and Brief Interventions Team achieve the Key performance Indicators and outcome measures for the Program.
Main roles include:

  • Provide Leadership in coaching/mentoring, performance review and development of ICP Clinicians
  • Monitoring key monthly performance indicators for the program and reporting back to the manager
  • Support ICP Clinicians maintain data reports and outcome measures, set by the department.
  • Review report cards for ICP and provide monthly report to manager and Operational Managers
  • Evaluate the ICP program

Classifications for this position will range from Occupational Therapist Grade 3 YB24 - YB27 ($101,597 - $116,074 per annum pro rata)


Your Contribution

  • 5 years mental health experience
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in developing and evaluating group programs
  • Strong group facilitation experience
  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
