What you'll do:
As a Director of Data Analytics supporting Sam’s Club US business, you will be responsible for providing overall direction for different teams by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce; recruiting, selecting, and nurturing talent; promoting Inclusiveness, building a great team culture, supporting mentorship and succession planning. Cultivates an environment where associates respect each other and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices.

Understanding Business Context: Requires knowledge of Industry and environmental factors; Understanding of business processes and practices across two or more domains such as retail, omni channel commerce, marketing, sales, retail media, technology or product.
Tech. Problem Formulation: Requires knowledge of Analytics/big data analytics / automation techniques and methods

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, data science, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience in roles focused on adding value through building analytical solutions and products for complex, cross functional business problems.
• 6+ years of experience in leading High performing analytical teams. Leading teams in on/offshore model is a huge plus
• Knowledge of high-end analytical tools for forecasting, attribution, and marketing mix models
• Passion for understanding business challenges and delivering solid solutions.
• Experienced in taking complex data and information from reporting teams and synthesizing into meaningful insights and clear story for leadership in PowerPoint.
• Excellent planning and project management skills.
• A highly motivated leader with the ability to devise solutions in unstructured situations.
• Succeeds in fast-moving environment, effectively balancing a variety of fast-turn deliverables, working with various constituents.
• Retail industry or Subscription Business Model experience will be a plus
