Phlebotomy Technicians Make It Possible 

Phlebotomy Technician - Part Time - Days

Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team of 26 Phlebotomist in a fast-paced inpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.

This position is part time Day shift - 6:30AM-9:30AM -5 days a week every other weekend-rotating holidays

Preferred Criteria

·       Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association preferred.

·       One year prior venipuncture experience preferred.

Required Criteria

·       Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED required.  

·       Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy required. Customer service skills required.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
