The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional to oversee critical academic assessment operations and ensure institutional excellence. This role involves leading data assessments across multiple programs within the College of Engineering and Technology, developing strategies for continuous improvement, and securing academic accreditation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with faculty and staff to provide actionable insights are shared and considered for curriculum changes, student performance, faculty engagement, and academic outcomes, fostering a culture of academic success.
Please note, that the Engineering Capstone faculty position is located at our main campus in Phoenix, AZ.
What you will do:
Develop and implement assessment strategies for the College of Engineering & Technology ensuring the college has a comprehensive plan that aligns with HLC and accreditation criteria and GCU accreditation requirements.
Data collection and reporting specific to collegiate assessment which would include gathering analyzing, and reporting data to demonstrate institutional progress, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Work with leadership to use assessment findings to drive data-informed decision-making, strategic planning, and resource allocation to enhance student learning and institutional effectiveness.
Support faculty through data-driven assessment insights, training, and best practices.
Participate on university committees as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
What you need:
BS degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business degree program.
Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
