Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls.  The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the role is to define those Legal Entity Management (LEM) activities, that can be centralized and standardized across EMEA region and support the Country LEM teams in those defined activities for the local legal entities. Prepare Regulatory reports for EMEA LEs as part of the Continuity of Business model supported from Mumbai.

The success criteria in the role is the ability to coordinate and effectively manage the offshored activities in delivering successful results to the local LEM and Regulatory reporting teams.

The Finance reporting lead analyst role is an integral part of the newly established centralized EMEA LEM support Team.

EMEA LEM Support team works closely with other areas of Citi, including local country finance and control teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the BAU of the centralized activities

  • Trusted partner to the EMEA local LEM teams and wider finance functions

  • Manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas

  • Communicate with peers within the firm

  • Deliver the pre-defined range of services to the EMEA region

  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within Finance and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the Finance department

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors’ degree from Finance

  • Chartered Accountant, ACCA or equivalent preferred

  • Qualification with more than 6 years of experience
