42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am till 5PM

About the Role:

As a Plasterer you will be working along side our responsive repairs team on our Leeds City Council contract.

You will have a certified core trade in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.

All aspects of repairs, it could be minor repairs or a whole house refurbishments, this could include patching a leak repairs or whole plaster finishes due to the age of the properties.

This will also include external works, sand and cement renders.

Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders This includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID,condition of vehicles and maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements. It may be necessary where requested to obtain customer feedback on completion of works.

Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a hand held device (PDA). This includes, but not limited to, worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works before / during / after, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments and method statements.

Participate in call out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.

Key Criteria:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to prepare and clean to a high standard
  • Good knowledge of all plastering backgrounds including damp issues
  • Good knowledge and experience with hack off Bonding, Multi finish. Dot and dab,celings,artex and damp proofing. Additional rendering and tiling.
  • Trade qualification in plastering
  • UK full driving licence
  • Customer service experience
