SUMMARY
The Supervisor Quarry is responsible for leading quarry operations and personnel. They will perform necessary quality control checks and adjustments on raw materials, products, and production process, to ensure quality products are produced in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure all mining and mobile equipment activities are compliant with SGI/MSHA safety standards
Supervision of employees performing day to day quarry operations and mobile equipment maintenance
Timely management of procurement processes associated with quarry operation and maintenance
Provide leadership in the quarry development process
Conduct mobile equipment training
Determine annual capital requirements associated with mobile equipment
Communicate mobile equipment and quarry operational expectations
Work with Maintenance Superintendent to manage mobile equipment expenses and operational expectations
Coordinate outside vendor activities, including blasting
