Purpose and Scope:
The SVP of Operations is responsible for the overall success of a major program or group of programs, working to grow the business, maintain customer satisfaction, ensure program profitability, and win re-competes.

Essential Responsibilities:
~ Directs Program/Project Managers and Capture Managers to ensure fulfillment of program and proposal objectives including cost, quality and schedules while maintaining company profit motives. ~ Ensures program business initiatives are in accordance with company strategic plan and company policies, procedures and guidelines. ~ Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility. ~ Supports new business development by leading major proposals personally or through subordinate Program/Project Managers. ~ Lead the Strategic Development Initiatives for the areas under the position’s oversight.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in related technical environment including military/civilian operations management, contracts, finance, personnel, and/or business administration with at least ten (10) years in managerial roles. - Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years experience in related field can be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college. Master’s degree preferred. - Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills. - Broad based Pricing, Estimating and Planning skills. - Strong background in commercial programs and contracts. - Extensive hands on experience in Supply Chain Management - Working knowledge of Department of Defense, United States government structure and agency procedures and policies for identifying and developing potential business opportunities. - Able to qualify for a security clearance. - Knowledge of various computer skills desirable (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Generally works in a normal office environment, but due to operational locations of various task orders, may be required to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, to austere environments under harsh living conditions
