Key Role:
Drive full agile life cycle engagements with technology-based or advanced analytic solution development and deployment projects for clients. Apply advising and Agile Scrum expertise to developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Work in an ambiguous environment with limited direction. Lead and mentor technical and non-technical resources throughout the software development life cycle from requirements gathering, architecture, and design development through testing and deployment. Instill Agile practices, seek opportunities to identify improvements and efficiencies with processes, and work with project teams to continuously improve the speed and efficiency of build and test processes. Communicate and coordinate with multiple project teams and multiple client stakeholders proactively and help to prioritize work based on client, security, and technical needs. Perform project management functions, including project and action item tracking, produce project-related briefing slides, facilitate meetings, conduct research, develop SOPs, and lead technical writing.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a business analyst
Experience with identifying and assessing customer needs and identifying technical solutions
Experience with presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
Experience with identifying programmatic risks and developing response strategies
Experience with conducting current-state and target state analysis and design for software applications
Experience with analyzing disparate systems to identify gaps and potential impacts
Experience with gathering user requirements and analyzing procedures to automate or improve existing systems
Experience with using an Agile methodology or working in Agile Scrum or SAFe team environments
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Army preferred
Experience in distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments
Experience with requirements management tools, including Jira and Confluence
Experience with business process modelling and architecture tools, including Visio or System Architect
Experience with communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
