We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our finance organization, focusing on rigorous financial planning, analysis, and operational execution. This role is ideal for a leader with a deep financial and operational background who can drive the team toward achieving critical financial and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor the FP&A, accounting, & BI teams, building a high-performance function that aligns with organizational goals. Act as a trusted financial partner to executives, demonstrating strong financial acumen and strategic insight.
• Organizational Development: Build, lead, and scale the finance organization to ensure robust financial processes, accuracy in reporting, and clarity in financial planning.
• Execution Excellence: Drive rigorous financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a relentless attention to detail. Own the planning process to ensure timelines and deliverables are met consistently.
• Accounting Leadership: Proven experience establishing and managing accounting processes in a startup environment, including handling rapid growth, ensuring GAAP compliance, managing cash flow, and overseeing efficient month-end and year-end close procedures tailored to a high-growth setting.
• Motivational Leadership: Engage and inspire the finance organization around key business timelines, milestones, and targets, fostering a goal-oriented and achievement-focused environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong partnerships across departments, including Sales, Operations, People, Engineering, and Product, to align financial planning with business objectives.
• Solution-Oriented Mindset: Approach financial challenges with optimism and focus on solutions rather than risks. Foster a proactive, results-driven culture within the finance team.

Who You Are

• Finance and Investment Background: Proven expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and investment banking, with strong analytical and business intelligence skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in tech or high-growth environments, ideally with experience in a role similar to a finance or operations lead in a cutting-edge company.
• Venture-Backed Startup Experience: Extensive experience working with venture-backed startups, bringing a keen understanding of growth dynamics and strategic financial planning in startup environments.
• Investor Relations: Proven track record of building and managing investor relations teams, effectively communicating with investors and stakeholders to ensure transparency, trust, and alignment with business objectives.
• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in financial leadership roles, with experience in strategic finance functions such as CFO, Head of FP&A, or equivalent.
• Startup Experience: Demonstrated success in a high-growth setting, with a track record of managing financial planning in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how financial planning impacts revenue and broader business objectives.
• Executive Presence: Ability to represent the FP&A function at the executive level with strategic vision and insight into key financial and operational metrics.
