Job Description

The Community Bank Channel Partner Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction, management, growth and agreement renewal of assigned bank partners.

Job Duties Include:

Elavon/Partner Goals

  • Work with partner to understand bank goals and build strategic action plans to meet both bank and Elavon goals on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.

New/Existing Revenue Opportunity Development

  • Work directly with bank management and sales to develop incremental sources of revenue

  • Work directly with bank management to develop and promote acceptance of revenue initiatives

Initiate Sales and Vertical Market campaigns

  • Data mining initiatives

  • Vertical market campaigns (e.g, ECS, DCC and Gift Cards)

  • Grass Roots Campaigns

  • Specialized Bank Segment Campaigns

Brand Awareness

  • Content management across all mediums

  • Leverage website opportunities between Elavon and bank partners

  • Leverage retail, small business & commercial/corporate distribution channels

  • Identify strategic opportunities including but not limited to:

  • Emerging markets

  • Pricing/Product margins

  • Product and portfolio mix

Bank Management

  • Create and administer bank partner business review sessions

  • Ensure compliance of co-branded content.

  • Develop and administer bank partner training.

  • Key liaison for conversion management and communications.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine years of financial sales experience
- Ability to travel (local, regional, national)

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including the development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills
- Advanced knowledge of unit payment products
- Advanced knowledge of of the organization and its products, services and operations
- Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
- Strong marketing, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00
