The Opportunity
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Claims Training Specialist to join our Claims and Technical Capability team on a permanent, full-time basis. This newly created role is pivotal in enhancing the skills and efficiency of our Claims Case Managers, ensuring that claims are managed with the utmost effectiveness. Ideal candidates are innovative, expert communicators with a robust understanding of training and assessment.
As a Claims Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining Resolution Life’s comprehensive Claims training program. This includes developing training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to claims management. You will conduct thorough training needs analyses, facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, and adapt your methods to meet adult learning requirements. Additionally, you will deliver confirmation of learning and continuously evaluate the training program's performance, seeking opportunities for improvement and refinement.
Your role will also involve ensuring that common processes across various product areas remain consistent and up-to-date. You will ensure that Case Managers comply with industry legislation, internal policies, and guidelines, aligning with Resolution Life’s Claims Philosophy, Core Beliefs, and Model. As a champion of change, you will manage the impacts of initiatives, process improvements, and broader change management activities on the Claims team.
Your Story

Certificate IV or above in Training and Assessment highly desirable
Demonstrated experience in developing training programs and in delivering training in corporate environments.
Experience in training in the life insurance industry and claims is highly desirable.
Understanding of the Risk Insurance market and associated products will be advantageous.
Be proactive and self-motivated, including detailed planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
Strong customer focus, with a care for the needs of others
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver high quality written correspondence.
Ability to regularly engage with various internal stakeholders and departments.
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
