Description:

The individual occupying this position will report to Marsh Romania leadership and regional leadership, will act as a connection point to the wider Marsh network and report in matrix to the CSEE Finpro Leader.

They will be also included in supervising and coordinating the activity of the Financial and Professional Insurance (FINPRO) department and will be ultimately responsible with developing, building and growing the practice within Romania, managing and maintain the clients portfolio, implementation of strategies and talent management.

We will count on you to manage:

Client Relationship Management and strategic advisory:
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, to understand their needs and objectives
•    Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
•    Facilitate client meetings to review progress and discuss future strategies
•    Analyze client needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with their business goals and budgets
•    Provide strategic advice to clients on corporate insurance programs and risk management solutions
•    Answering client’s requests for insurance / renewal / modification of insurance policies or consultancy services
•    Administration of existing clients and insurance contracts, in compliance with Marsh’s standards and procedures

Sales and Business Development:
•    Contacts and establishes meetings with new potential clients; visits them and presents company and company’s products and services; follow-up until sales closing
•    Builds and maintains relationship with key decision makers
•    Developing and promoting products / consulting services 
•    Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients
•    Participate in the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities
•    Market Analysis
•    Networking and company representation in industry related events, corporate events and professional gatherings
•    Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with relevant insights
•    Conduct market research to support the development of new products and services
•    Customization of existing insurance products on the market based on client’s needs
•    Identifying areas of development for new products / consultancy services

Compliance and Risk Management:
•    Ensure that all client programs comply with local regulations and industry standards
•    Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Collaboration 
•    Work closely with other departments and offices, to ensure a cohesive approach to client service
•    Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
•    Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to drive continuous improvement
•    Collaboration with all insurers agreed by Marsh

Reporting and database maintenance:
•    Regular reports updating based on predefined templates, to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
•    Databases maintenance and updating


What you need to have:

•    5+ Years of FINPRO experience
•    3+ Years people management experience

•    Financial lines
•    Insurance products for private equity, mergers & acquisitions are a plus
•    Excellent understanding of insurance industry, insurance policies, contracts and commercial aspects

•    Bachelor’s Degree and a valid broker’s license 
•    Proficient in English
•    Excellent written and oral skills in Romanian
