JOB PURPOSE

To manage and continuously improve Warehouse (or 3PL) operations of the Regional Hub/s. Monitor the continuous improvement initiatives implementation and quantify the improvements.

Provide and apply supply chain expertise and analysis on operations in regions network to identify improvements, develop proposals and project managed implementation of new technologies and procedures within the region. Act as a regional WMS/TMS custodian to ensure systems configuration is continuously improved and requests for service and system support are addressed appropriately.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Improve existing and develop new logistic and supply chain solutions within SMRT P&S Logistics.
• Continuously fine tune WMS/TMS & SAP systems configuration and ensure that requests for service and system support are addressed appropriately and in a timely and professional manner.
• Development and management of WHM engineered standards within region.
• Proactively apply supply chain expertise and analysis on operations in regional network. I.E: Ensure standardization of global processes & procedures adhering to documented processes. ·
• Identify improvements, create proposals, develop Power BI and project management. Manage implementation of new technologies and procedures within our logistics organization.
• Set the standards for continuous improvement activities in region.
• Coordinate and partner with other global hubs to ensure best practices are shared, adopted and are compliant with SMRT policies and objectives.
• Keep abreast of emerging industry trends and technologies to ensure that SMRT P&S Logistics continuously improves process efficiencies and customer service effectiveness.
• Monitor the status of continuous improvement implementation initiatives.
• Verify and quantify the improvements from the improvement initiatives. ·
• Ad-hoc analysis / activities as required. I.E: Return officer for managing and approving Return to SMCL. Manage 3PL (if applicable).
• Ensure all Logistics Operations sites are adhering to documented processes.
• Provide troubleshooting and performance management of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and its communications with the Transport Management System (TMS) and SAP systems
• Maintaining and preparing regular monthly productivity, KPI and safety reports where applicable.
