 Looking for experienced candidates in repair and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems and components. Position requires building pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders. Knowledge of Parker products is preferred. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

  

Position Summary 

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components both in the branch and off site (customers and other locations.) 

Essential Functions 

  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components. 
  • Diagnose problems, prepare estimates for repairs. 
  • Repair and install new systems in the field. 
  • Keep work area/truck clean and organized. 
  • Maintain proper inventory on service vehicle. 
  • Maintain a professional image and relationship with customers. 
  • Identify new business opportunities while on customer premises. 

Position Qualifications- Skills and Abilities 

Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas: 

  • Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcome. 
  • Skill to formulate a sound decision using available information. 
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a task. 
  • Work at customer site in accordance with their work rules. 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: 

  • Three years previous mechanic experience in hydraulics, diesel, or industrial equipment preferred. 
  • Basic math skills and good communication skills are required.
