What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll be accountable for the changes taking place in regulatory reporting under the European Central Bank supervision. In the course of your work, you'll support the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan group processes and data, including capturing requirements, inputting them to design solutions and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles.

We’ll also look to you to build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.

You’ll also:

  • Analyse and understand the change impacts to regulatory metrics and reports 
  • Understand key regulatory metric drivers, providing subject matter expertise and input regarding the wholesale and retail business
  • Perform impact assessments on new changes and communicate findings to Finance senior management
  • Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design 
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and help business users in executing UAT 

The skills you'll need

You’ll need a detailed understanding and experience of relevant regulatory rules, along with sound analytical and problem solving skills. You’ll also have people, process and systems skills, with an understanding of and keen interest in improving existing systems and challenging existing processes where appropriate.

You’ll also need:

  • To be a qualified accountant, with a good record of application within a business environment
  • Experience working in regulatory change projects and programmes 
  • A proven ability to identify, analyse and resolve issues with minimal supervision
  • A proven ability to set exemplary standards of delivery for yourself 
  • Strong attention to detail and drive to grapple with complex, untested issues and formulate possible solutions
