The Operations Analyst, Global Risk and Tax provides administrative, analytical and project tracking support for the SVP, Chief Tax & Risk Officer.   The position interacts with Tax and Risk team members on a daily basis to build an awareness of the critical activities of the functions.   Principal duties of the role involve driving efficiency in data needs, decision processes and information content for the SVP, Chief Tax & Risk Officer. 

Key Responsibilities

Analyst Support (75%)

  • Performs non-technical research and compiles dashboards based on team input for quick access of key data driving decision making.
  • Drafts executive friendly written summaries based on both self-performed research and more detailed input from applicable teams.
  • Prepares and proofs visually attractive data intensive power point presentations, coordinating the gathering of required information with applicable teams.
  • Proposes internal team meeting agendas, coordinates the preparation of content with Risk and Tax leaders, and tracks agreed actions via meeting minutes for the SVP, Chief Tax & Risk Officer.
  • Coordinates information flow with applicable teams to provide regular progress reports against defined functional objectives.

Administrative Support (25%)

  • Prepares reports to illustrate actual external cost spend to ensure adherence to budget/forecast; coordinates accrual and payment management with accounting teams.
  • Coordinates monthly scheduling for internal executive level committees.
  • Performs occasional administrative support including email distribution list management, expense reporting, travel arrangements and agenda conflict resolution when requested (day to day calendar monitoring is not required of this position).  

Preferred Qualifications and Pre-requisites

  • Strong communications and analytical skills; data visualization experience a plus.
  • Basic business finance knowledge and a curiosity to learn financial and economic concepts applicable to tax and risk areas.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and initiatives, including showing follow up skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Contributes to a positive and engaging teaming environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business.
  • Two to five years of professional experience building multi-tasking and problem solving skills in fast paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint , Teams and Outlook.

Position may be required to be in office up to 5 days a week with occasional travel, however a typical work week requires office site work location 3 days a week.
